Start butten not working on vista.

I need some help. My start butten dont work sometimes. Sometimes I click on
the start butten and it wont pop up. I had to use the window butten on the
keybord. Does anyone have any idea on what happenning and how i can fix it.

I had the same problem last night where IE7 wouldn't respond to mouse
clicks.

Scanned for spyware and found 12-14 things that should not have been there.

After I cleaned them and rebooted the problem went away.

www.trendmicro.com has an online scanner that you can use to
scan the computer for spyware if you want. It's called housecall, I think.
At least, I think it works in Vista...
