Strange behaviour on my Dell Latitude 410 PC with Windows XP.
Near the start button, you get Intenet Explorer, Outlook, Windows explorer
and other applications buttons. When I switch on my PC, I cannot access those
buttons clicking with my mouse(arrow). It is very annoying as I need to go
back to the Desktop to click the program I want to use (It means that I have
to downsize all the application windows I am using!). Any advice to solve
this problem is welcome.

Those start menu items are created by the "Set Program Access and Defaults"
app at Start/All Programs, (see at the top) You might toggle a setting to see
if that fixes the start menu shortcut.

That's the Quick Launch toolbar. Try these:

- ry deleting the Quick Launch toolbar, then add it back. To do that,
right-click the Task bar, click Toolbars, Quick Launch. Then go back
and add it back in.

- Line 164. Restore Taskbar and Desktop to Default Functionality
