I'm trying to write a macro ... well at least I WANT to
write a macro that types out standard text, then pauses
for user input, then continues on, then pauses again for
user input, etc. I've done this before with other software
programs so I'm certain there is a way to do it in Word, I
just don't know how. Below is an example of what the
finished text would look like:

PULMONARY FUNCTIONS: FVC 0.30; FEV1 1.72; FEV1% 75%; MMEF
1.43; PEF 4.50.

What I want it to do is type out the text and where the
numeric values are I want it to pause so I can put in the
appropriate value, then continue on with the punctuation
and next heading, pausing for input and so on.

PLEASE tell me there is a way to do this and where I can
find out how to do it, or if you're really nice, just send
me the macro (lol) ... Please respond to me at my email
addy if possible and thank you so much in advance!

Another possibility is to use AutoText or AutoCorrect to insert the
boilerplate and type the variables in between.
