In "All Programs" I have several similar programs that I want to lis
under one Folder. i.e. several graphic viewers. How do I list the
under the one folder, say "Graphic Viewers" so that I just have t
click on that folder and then select the viewer I wish to use?. An
help appreciated thanks

Just move the shortcuts to wherever you want them.
Drag them or perhaps try using a right-click on the Start button,
selecting Explorer and manipulate the Programs in the Start Menu to
suit.

Hi Nikolin,

Right click the start button, choose "explore all users". Then click on the
Programs sub-folder. Click file/new/folder, call it "Graphic Viewers". Then
in the right pane, drag (left click and hold) the desired icons into it and
drop them here. This will appear as a menu change for all user accounts.

Hi Lisa,

Click start/run, type msconfig, then click ok. Click on the startup tab,
here you will find a list of programs that are starting whenever you boot
the machine. Some are essential, like antivirus software, but most are not.
You can uncheck those you do not wish to have starting at boot time.

get a prog called winpatrol from download.com its free and will tell u
everything that is running on your pc then u can choose whether to let it run
at startup or not,if youve had your pc awhile youll be amazed at the things
that are running that shouldnt be

Go to Start>Run and type 'msconfig' in the Run textbox and then check the
Startup tab on the System Configuration Utility that appears. There is no
need for a third party tool.
