star LC 24-20 dot matrix printer

we currently run win 98 which will no longer be supported
in a few months despite running perfectly well.
we have been told to change to 2000 but we need to throw
out the above printer which works well. can we run the
above printer on 2000 ? Do we use the 98 driver or do we
need a new one?
 
You cannot use the Windows 98 driver.... but Windows 2000 probably has
drivers for it built in.
 
it definitely does

"Star LC24-20" = STLC2420.GPD,
StarStar_LC24-20D670,Star_LC24-20
"Star LC24-20 II" = ST2420II.GPD,
StarStar_LC24-20_IICF99,Star_LC24-20_II
