Stange volume pointer

For some reason, in a users directory, I have an icon for
one of the entire volumes on my server. Its NOT a
shortcut, and one can double-click on it and see the
entire drive.
Can't/Won't delete it because it would delete the entire
contents of that drive.
Anyone have any suggestions.

Steve,

It sounds like somone created a junction or mount point that points to the
root of a volume.
