I have a PC with the same feature (not an error for me). It is called Standby
Mode (S3) in my BIOS Power Management Feature. I really love this feature
more than Hibernate as it only take 10 seconds to move my PC back to the
state it was before. Furthermore, It save 100% power my PC than normaly
standby mode. Only one condition, do not switch off your UPS or main power
supply else it will remove the state from memory (where it was before) and
next time when you will switch on your Windows will get restart.
It works fine on my PC and see if this is the same on your PC as well. If
you are troubleshooting with this feature or error then goto BIOS setup by
pressing DEL (or the key recommended by your BIOS manufacturer). Locate the
Power Management option. Try changing the Standby Mode to S1 (if available).
If not, then load the BIOS Default Settings from the Main Screen.
