When restarting from standby, a blue screen appears that goes too quickly to read.

The system then shuts down and boots up fro the start.

It does this in hiberbation as well.
I have the latest Bios the latest Motherboard drivers.

It is a recently built system with an ASUS A7V8X-X mainboard.
Atlon 2600+
512 meg crucial Ram.
Nvidia Ge-Force graphics card.
WIndows XP home fully up to date with all service packs updated.

Please any ideas

Hi,

Start/run eventvwer.msc and see if the system and application logs hold any
clues. These types of standby problems are almost always driver related, and
fixing it is hit or miss. Sometimes reverting to an older driver version is
the ticket.
