Standby problem

Can anybody explain why my computer always reboots from
start every time I bring it out of Standby mode?

Try reinstalling your video drivers, then reboot. (You might want to
check first to see if the video drivers have been updated.). This
would happen to me occasionally after doing some windows updates,
hasn't for a while.

Thank you for your kind reply. Unfortunately I'm not
very technical, can you explain how I go about doing
this, or better still are there any programmes I can
download that would help?
 
One way of checking what make your video card is, is to
go to the Device Manager. To get there, right-click on My
Computer and select Properties. Under the hardware tab,
click on Device Manager.

Expand the tree beside "Display Adapters". There you
should see an entry that says what kind of video card you
have. Try to do a google search for the video adapter
that you have, or post back here and let us know what
adapter you have.
