This is usually caused by some device or driver for the device being
incompatible with this feature. Do you have a device connected to a com
port, it could be your modem, it could be any number of other devices. You
could try updating your drivers but resolving the issue is dependent upon
whether or not the updated drivers from the device manufacturer support this
function. If not, you will either have to purchase an updated device or
remove the drivers for the current device and disconnect it.
