It appears that I don't have the use of the standby function. I went to the
Help and Support Center. And this is what it tells me to do: "To manually
put your computer on standby
Open Power Options in Control Panel.
On the Advanced tab, under When I press the power button on my computer,
click Standby. If you are using a portable computer, click Standby under When
I close the lid of my portable computer.
Click OK or Apply, and then turn off the power or close the lid of your
portable computer." The problem I have is that when I go to 'When I press
the power botton on my computer, click Standby' is that I don't have that
option. I have three options and they are 1. Do nothing 2. Ask me what to
do 3. Shutdown. Does anyone know what I can do to use the standby function?
I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
