I've read somewhere that your title text should be no
less than 32 points and that text (as in bullets) should
be no less than 18 points. If you have room, bigger is
better.
The 6x6 rule applies, too: no more than 6 bullets per
slide; no more than 6 words per line.
Use no more than 2 different fonts on a slide.
Simplicity and consistency throughout the presentation is
important so that your audience is not distracted
(consciously or subconsciously!) by your wide variety of
sizes, fonts, styles, etc.
