Hi, I'm running XP and I am editing some home video's. When I save the video
to my computer I do not have the option (as mentioned in the tutorial and in
earlier questions asked on this board) of choosing a file type to save it as.
The only options I have is to choose the quality of the file. Is the
version you pay for diffrent than the version that comes with Windows XP?

To save as movie, use menu File -> "Save MOVIE As"
or press key Ctrl-P
or use the "Save to my computer" under "Finish Movie" step on the left
hand task bar.

In the Save Movie wizard, first screen allows you to select a name for
the saved movie and the next screen is "Movie Settings". Click on "Show
more options..." and you will have all the different options to select.
For best quality and performance you should select DV AVI from the drop
down box if any of the following is true:
1. your source movie is a DV AVI captured from a miniDV camcorder. or
2. your final target is to put it on a DVD.

For making a DVD you would need a DVD Authoring software (in addition to
WMM) such as Ulead Movie Factory, Nero *Vision* Express, Sonic MyDVD.

Thanks I found it. It appears that I only saw what I wanted to see...It was
there all the time.
