Hello all.
Happy New Year!
My XP Embedded build has two Administrator accounts and one limited
user account configured through TD. The problem is that if I use the
standard user control panel (nusrmgr.cpl), I cannot create additional
user accounts until after I create an extra administrator account. I
can work around this by using the Administrative Tools, Computer
Management, Users and Groups control panel, or by manually creating the
1st admin account before saving the gold image. It would be nice to
correct this from TD.
A regmon log reveals that creating the "extra" administrator creates a
number of registry keys under HKLM\SAM\SAM, which is normally a hidden
key, and one that I probably don't want to mess with.
HKLM\SAM\SAM\DOMAINS\Account\Users\(Default)
HKLM\SAM\SAM\DOMAINS\Account\Users\Names\joe blow\(Default)

HKLM\SAM\SAM\DOMAINS\Builtin\Aliases\00000220\C
HKLM\SAM\SAM\Domains\Builtin\F
It appears to me to be a <gasp> bug...
Any thoughts?
TIA
