Standard Remarks in a field

If I set up a drop down box in a field in order for users to select a
standard line, can you still enter your own information without using the
drop down box information if needed or once you have made the field a drop
down box option can you only select one of those?
 
Combo boxes have a LimitToList property that you can set. When you set it,
typing a value into the text portion of the combo box will trigger the
NotInList event, where you'll have to do something to ensure that the value
