Hi all.... i use my laptop for work (just opened a photography studio) and
take it to and from work each day... however, i need to edit the images i
take and have been doing that on an evening when i get home... on my PC due
to contrast and colour issues with the laptop and screen position... what i
want to know is.. can i put a standard monitor in my shop... and then just
plug it into my laptop when i get there. laptop is a Hi-Grade Notino W6700
..... is this possible ? if so .... HOW? i hope one of you can help... cheers
and i await your replies.
Paul.

This should be fairly easy. There's a VGA connector on the back. Plug the
monitor in and look for a special button on the keyboard. The Fn-F8
combination is typical for a lot of laptops. Pressing it repeatedly cycles
between LCD, CRT, and both. Usually. ;-) This should be in the manual, too.

Almost certainly. I've yet to encounter a laptop that doesn't have an
external VGA connector.

if so .... HOW?

Connect the external monitor to the VGA connector on the back of the
laptop.
