Does anyone know how to calculate standard error of the mean in Excel. This is a frequently needed scientific calculation which is availble in Quattro Pro, but I can't find it in Excel. I suppose I could look up the statistical function and write the formula into each cell, but that's a pain.

=STDEV(Range)/SQRT(COUNT(Range))

Thanks. That's what I did, but it seems to me that Excel ought to have that in their list.

Your point being? STEYX() is simply STandard Error of Y values for
each X value in a regression.....
