I just had the RAM replaced in my machine. After which,
I re-installed XP home. My problem is I no longer have
the Hibernate or Stand By options. I had them before and
I know my machine is ACPI compliant. My question is how
do I get them back?

Thanks.

If you don't see the option to allow hibernation in Control Panel, then most
probably whoever installed the RAM changed your BIOS settings. You probably
need to turn on pwer management support in the BIOS. Your motherboard or
computer manual will tell you how.

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your computer or
video card and search for Windows XP drivers. Download and install
them.
