Stand-alone Server to AD

Hello All,

I need some advice. I have W2K stand-alone server with hundreds of users
which also a radius server. These users are used for VPN logins.

I would like to convert this standalone server to AD. Can I run dcpromo and
at the sametime maintain all existing user names and passwords? What files
to backup before I proceed dcpromo, just in case?

Az,

All the local users will be lost. A system state backup will retain the old
SAM & registry in case you wish to restore.
