Chaos Master

I am looking for a program that can do the same as Winamp' AVS (Advanced
Visualization Studio) plug-in does, but that runs standalone and can save
video (generated visualization) to .AVI or .MPEG file.

I know this effects can be done with a image editor, but I want to use
music as the background for the animation.

G-Force graphically visualizes music:

Stand alone. Does not have function to record the playback. As with all
these programs, the faster the computer, the better the result.

Trial then buy.

Download G-Force (Free Trial Version)

* Download the G-Force archive appropriate for your system (below).
G-Force supports iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, J. River MEDIA
CENTER, MediaMonkey, MUSICMATCH Jukebox, jetAudio, Sonique, and XMPlay.

* The G-Force stand-alone application visualizes auxiliary, or "line-
in", audio (instead of media player audio) and is bundled with each
archive below.

You will need to use a desktop recorder to capture the video that is
displayed.

Looks good, even being Liteware/Trialware (do not (f/b)lame!).
