Stand-Alone & Legacy Templates

i had downloaded Windows_XP_Security_Guide_v2.zip
from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...BC-F434-4CC6-A5A7-09A8A229F118&displaylang=en

it has lots of templates to secure almost any type of environment

the "Windows XP Security Guide.pdf" provides good stuff about how and when
to use those templates

but i couldnt understand when to use "Legacy" and "Stand-Alone" Templates

Any help is greatly appreciated !!!

Hi

The Stand-Alone Templates are for XP Clients that are not a member of a
Domain and the Legacy Templates are for XP clients that are joined to a
Windows NT 4.0 Domain.
How do you like the guide?

i regret for the delay

and the security guide is realy awesome !
hope that they haven just copied from consensus Baseline !
