Stanby mode frozen

Hi,
Sometimes, when computer has been in stanby mode for a
while(1 hour...), eventhough I press on the space bar, it
doesn't get out of stanby mode. The only way to get it
back on is to shut it down and repower it.It does that
only occasionally. Any idea?

Could be your system is Suspending or Hibernating after a certain period of
time. Check your power management settings. A special key, or key
combination, is usually required to bring a system out of the Suspend or
Hibernate modes. Check your manual.
