Staic on Burned CD;s

It may not be the recording. Check the system volume control, if set too
high, you'll get static. Open Control Panel, open Sounds and Audio Devices,
click advanced, if the volume slider under Play Control is set beyond
mid-level, take it down a bit and see if that resolves the issue.
 
Just recently when I burn a cd I get alot of static most of the time cannot
even hear the music. This happens with Roxio or Windows Media player when I
use them to burn. How do I get rid of this static. Please help!
 
No such thing as static in AUDIO,only in radio signals.
the word static used in connection with sound does not mean anything.
Hiss,crackles,backgound noise,mains hum,other noise picked up on cables in a
pc,none of those can be called static.
Turn down sliders for ALL unused inputs(sound engineer)
