I am able to show data values for each of the individual bar components, however, I have not found a way to show the total of the components at the top of the stacked bar. Is that possible to do

Thanks

If you are using XL, put the totals in a new column and use that column
for the data labels for the top most plotted bar. To do so, use XY
Chartlabeler from www.appspro.com or Chart Tools from www.j-walk.com.

The other alternative, which should also work with MS Graph since it
does not require any add-in, is to create the totals column, plot it,
set the data labels for this series to 'value', move the series to the
secondary axis, and finally format the secondary axis and the totals
series to be invisible (set all pertinent attributes to 'None'). You
*may* also have to adjust the secondary y-axis min/max values.
