I am using Excell 2000

I created a stacked bar graph where X axis is the months
of the year and the Y axis is the # of Quotes we receive
via calls, faxes, emails etc.

Now I want to include another bar graph to stand next to
the stacked bar graph that shows how many of the quotes
turned into orders. Is this possible?

After I get that far I want to add a line graph by the 2nd
Y axis with the percentage of orders based on
quotes/month. Is this possible?

Can anyone point me in the right direction????

Hi,
the easiest way to create side-by-side stacked columns, or a stacke
column next to an ordinary one, is to have two layers in the x-axis
one for each adjacent column or stacked column. For example, tw
columns of x-axis labels in a chart with data arranged in columns.

The attached sheet illustrates a possible solution to Aurora’s proble
using this method

Step by step. Set up the data this way:

Quotes Orders Percentage
Jan 100 70 70%
Feb 120 90 75%
etc.

Leave the cell above the months blank, to help Excel understand your
data. Select the data, and make a clustered column chart of all three
series. Select the Percentage series (if it's too small to click on,
select the Orders series and press the Up arrow key). Select Chart Type
from the Chart menu, and choose a Line type, then select Selected Data
Series from the Format menu, and on the Axis tab, select Secondary.
