I have no idea whether my problem is XP related, browser related, or
ornery computer related. Whenever I go to the New Yorker cartoon caption
site a box appears indicating that there is a "stack overflow at line: 0."
I click ok and then my browser closes. I never get that message any other
time. I have no idea what it means.

- Open Internet options - Advanced tab (Start-Run-intecpl.cpl ,6)
- Check- "Disable Script Debugging" and uncheck "Display a notification about every
script error"

Good Luck, Ayush.

Both those items, the check and uncheck, were already checked and unchecked.

Then you don't deserve any assistance; you should have said that in your
first post.

Of course I would have said that had I known it was important. But not
knowing what a stack overflow was, is, I hardly knew where to begin to look
for a problem. I didn't mention any other items that were or are checked or
unchecked. I have no idea what is relevant. That's why I wrote in and
that's why I said I didn't know if it is an XP problem a browser problem,
etc. etc.
