WinXP - SP1
Ghosted [binary] Image (off a PATA HD) ghosted/written to a created
FAT32 partition on the SSD;- same goes for DOS7, DOS95, DOS whatever.
Trx > SSD
SSD: --Will NOT BOOT--
As in EITHER abovementioned. Error result: "Where's Command.com,
duh?" pronounced in Samsungese.
By itself, Samsung 64G - partitioned/fdisked/formatted - you name it,
go ahead, I'll wait, and play some craps with the BIOS: Will NOT BOOT
Here's where it gets tough[er] and the weirdos get going --

-If- and only if I install SBM boot arbitration, the SSD boots DOS or
WinXp !!
What's that say? Something about software, (runs on hardware,
right?), though damned if I know why. . .
Oh, yeah. Rejuvenating the computer, everything goes faster, amazing
isn't it? ...Well, not exactly. About the same, marginally faster.
I'll take it, though. It's a keeper long as it works. That I made it
do it has got to be worth something for factoring out amazing. On
10-12 year old WinXP technology, purposefully, too. Just maybe it'll
break now that I've got files semi-flying through Samsung memory like
semi-angry bees.
