once again i think it has something to do with my desktop
color being set black
the "Run Quick Scan Now" button's text isn't clearly
visible

Strange, I get nothing of the sort.
PC1: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 @ 1280x1024 32bit color quality
PC2: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 @ 1280x1024 32bit color quality
Hitachi 17" CML174SX DVI on both PC's
