I have sqwire, common name, and bargain buddy on my
computer, and it will not let me delete them. Is this
causing me to have 'adult links' icons put onto my
desktop, and my homepage to be re-set? If so, how can I
delete them? If not, what is the program causing the
adult links pop ups and icons, and the home page problem?
I already downloaded ad-aware 6.0, and it finds
approximately 50-70 common name 'bugs' everytime I run
it. I delete my cookies every day. Thanks for the help!

Dealing with Hijackware

You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each and every
use, even "right out of the box". But even then, they can't catch
everything. HijackThis
(http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred
tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove any
hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/,
not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
