squashed photo's

Qosmio F20 with windows XP media edition.... all my new photo's and those
transferred from my PC are squashed (or cropped). Even when I print them
they are produced squashed up. Has anyone any ideas why this is happening?

Say more about the problem. How are you viewing and printing the
photos?

Copying files doesn't do anything to their size--something else is
going on.
