I was looking for some database to be used in pocket application
(Windows Mobile 2003). I have tried SqlCe, but it's not my favourite...
Is there a SqLite porting for the CompactFramework?

You can look at UltraLite (bundled as part of SQL Anywhere Studio) from
iAnywhere Solutions (http://www.iAnywhere.com - A Sybase company). The
developer edition is free.

you can search for "db4o" (an object database with very small overhead)
at www.db4o.com. The Support ist _GREAT_!

and there's new free database "perst". Object-DB too. don't know
anything about it yet.
