sql2000 server

hi, after installing "terminal server" component upon an win2000 server running sql2000 server, sql2000 agent service could not start. issueing C0000142 error. after uninstalling "t.s." component sql2000 agent service fired as usual.
any clue ?

Installing terminal services typically requires you to
reinstall all previously installed programs. Have you
tried removing the SQL agent and then reinstalling it?

hi, Matthew and thanks. yes, i tried to reinstall the sql2000 agent : impossible to do !. sql2000 need a complete reinstall of sql2000 server. ( i cannot do this now ). I entend to try a new approach ( on a test machine ) : installing the t.s. before any other software that i need on this server.

Arg that sucks. Well, if you are able to solve the
problem with the new installation, can you post here so
that we all know how to fix this?
