sql05 express qa

I just installed c# express and sql05 express.

I don't see a query tool in the start menu -- but it says there is one
installed in add/remove programs.

Is there a "query analyzer" that comes with sql05expr ?

You probably want to also install Management Studio Express if you have not.
It includes a Query Analyzer. There should be a download link on the SQL
Server Express page.
