Note.... It is not necessary to post to so many newsgroups. If you
feel you absolutely must post to more than one group, two or three
should be all that is needed.

For Access?
Did you look in Access Help?
Help + Contents + Microsoft Access Help + Microsoft Jet SQL Reference

Did you perform a search on the Internet for "SQL"?
The first of 18,500 hits on my search engine returned:

SQL Tutorial
Well organized easy to understand SQL tutorial with lots of examples.
Including PHP, ASP, ADO, Oracle, Access, SQL Server. Related: HTML,
JavaScript, XML, ...

Good luck.

Hi Anthony,

to help you understand a bit better, send me an email and request my
30-page Word document on Access Basics (for Programming) -- it doesn't
cover VBA, but prepares you for it because it covers essentials in
Access. There is a section on SQL statements.

For VBA Syntax, I send out the first 3 chapters of a book I am writing
on VBA to all who request it... basic syntax is covered in chapter 3.

Be sure to put "Access Basics" and/or "VBA manual" in the subject line
so that I see your message...

Warm Regards,
Crystal
