Hello,
I use MsAccess 2002 on a Windows XP platform, together with SQL Server 2000.
I installed SQL Server on my XP machine prior to installing Service Pack 2
for XP. Everything worked fine: could use the Upsize Wizard, ADP etc.
After installing Service Pack 2, I can no longer get a connection to SQL
Server from Access 2002. Using the upsize wizard I get the messages:
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or
access denied.
The Upsizing Wizard only works with Microsoft SQL Server (versions
6.50 SP5 or higher). Please log in to a SQL Server data source.
SQL Server is running, and I can see the tables etc. via the SQL Server
Enterprise manager. I switched off the firewall, but no effect.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
