I had been having an error with my wifi but that is resolved now, now I am
looking for the sscesa30.dll and can't find it. Where is it supposed to be
located?

Thanks

Hi,

See if you have it at Drive Letter\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server
2005 Mobile Edition\Server. I think the correct DLL name is
sqlcesa30.dll.

Hope it helps!

Thanks, it sure did, now when I am on my ipaq hx2790 and use internet
explorer to hit sqlcesa30.dll, it brings up a download box. Is it supposed
to do this or is it supposed to show me the version information? If it is
the version information, would you be able to point me in a direction to
find out what is wrong?

Yes, as far as I understand, IExplorer should display you the SQL
Server Agent version, not a download dialog box.
In my case, when accessing http://localhost/PubName/sqlcesa30.dll, "SQL
Server Mobile Server Agent 3.0" is displayed in my browser.

Have you correctly followed steps to create the virtual directory? Just
follow the WebSynchronization Wizard from SQL Server. It will do it for
you.

I advise you to delete and create again the virtual directory following
the wizard .

Good luck and regards.

I had to delete / recreate a few times and run thru the wizard but it
finally worked. Thanks

One other thing, when I have am synchronizing on the device, right before
the synchronize call I call a waitcursor and it runs for about 30 seconds
and then freezes, when I go to file explorer to look at the file, it has
grown in size and when I come back to the synchronize app, the waitcursor
runs again for about 30 seconds and freezes. After the synchronize is done,
I am supposed to get a messagebox showing that it is done, but that never
happens.
Any ideas?
Thanks
