SQL Database

Sort of. Create a new Access mdb (or use an existing one). Link to the
tables in the SQL Server database, and then create maketable queries
with the SQLS tables as the source. Or, create the tables with the
proper schema and run append queries.

In addition to Mary's suggestions elsewhere in this thread, note that you
can't simply import from an MDF file that is not attached to an instance of
SQL Server (which it may not be if someone sent it to you via e-mail or
removable media). If that is the case, you'll need access (no pun intended)
to an instance of SQL Server, and sufficient permissions to allow you to
attach a database.
