Hi,

Machine HP dl3600 2 xeon 3.4+4Gb ram

Windows 2000 server + SQL2000

this machine have near 700 dinamic sites with some portals with heavy traffic.

Some days ago, due SQL use all the recurses of machine, the machine was a
bit instable.

Now SQL only can use 50% of processor, instability disappear, but i think a
bottleneck appear on SQL due is almost of the time using 50% of processors,
the limit that SQL haves.

The question:
I was about to look at perfomance monitor to add SQL objects to watch them i
noticed none appear listed, the usual ones appear, processor/memory/etc...
But regardind SQL none...
What i can do add SQL itens do perfomance objects?

Allready contacted HP, but they said to me to contact microsoft...

Thk in advance,
P. viana

You can Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe
(Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource kit to enable/ disable
the counters.
