spyware

My computer has a problem with an ad that has changed the desktop to a red
screen and a link to purchase the software. I've tried to change the desktop
back to the original but it won't allow me to do that. I've run my normal
spyware software and it doesn't detect anything. i need help

Give it a try running all your tools in safe mode.
