I am running WinXP Pro and have a program called win32us.exe in the system32
folder. There is also a program called win32us-uninstall.exe and one called
aupdate.trk again both in the system32 folder..

I have run Spybot which sees these as spyware, but Adware 6.0 does NOT see
them as spyware.

I think these are all spyware for a company called telcom, but I cannot find
anything about this company and if these programs are not part of Windows
and are NOT needed, I would like to get rid of them.

Does anyone know what these files are for? Does my OS need them? If not
needed, how do I uninstall them. Spybot does NOT quarantine them.

Spybot will catch some things that adaware misses. If it calls it spyware,
go ahead and get rid of it. There should be an option for that with spybot.

win32us.exe is a adult content dialer (All-In-One Telcom)
The uninstall portion should be what it says,Uninstall.
aupdate is an IE toolbar,home-page & search hijacker. You
can read about it here...

You can check in ADD?REMOVE programs and see if they are
listed and remove them or as mentioned have Spybot do it
for you.If problems persist, try a registry cleaner.....
Good luck.
