I am running winXP Pro.
I have recently had invasive software added to my pc. It may be all one
associated piece of software. I have run Spybot to no avail.

One is called msbb.exe which Microsoft gave instructions how to uninstall
that DID NOT work.
The other one is called iLookup which added a tool bar to IE6 and I get a
popup everytime I change urls.
Another is called eZula

I would like to know how to remove these and what the following program
files do as I think they are the associated culprits:
ezmmod.exe
mswe.exe
win32us.exe
msbb.exe

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like spyware to me;) Have you updated Spybot?
You might also try Ad-Aware6 and Spyware Blaster.

I know it is definitely spyware and yes I have updated spybot. I would not
only like to find out how to remove it, I know the company that puts it out
and would dearly love to put them out of business.
So far nothing I have used has touched it. The best seems to be the Zone
Alarm and set it to permanently not to allow these files access to the
internet.
Is Spyware Blaster any better than Adware or Spybot??

See http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/nCase.html for instructions on
manual removal of msbb.exe spyware.

See http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/ILookup.html for instructions on
manual removal of all the currently known variations of the i-Lookup
spyware. You may have a new variant that isn't handled by Adaware or
Spybot.

See http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/TopText.html for instructions on
manual removal of the Ezula spyware.

Most spyware morphs constantly to avoid removal, so you may be seeing
new variations of these spywares. The manual instructions may help you
remove the variants.

Get and run HiJackthis.exe from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/files/hijackthis.zip. You can save the
logfile and use it to analyze your new spyware, or post it here and we
can help you analyze what you've got that Adaware and Spybot don't
remove.

For the moment adware seems to have these undercontrol, but I did download
hijackthis and if necessary will run it. I will then post results.
Thank you very much

Adware actually did a fair job of removing Ezula. I had also emailed the
company and asked for directions for removal. Lo and Behold, they answered.
If anyone is interested, here is their method of removal.:
In order to uninstall, please follow these steps:
1. Go to START --> Settings --> Control Panel
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs
3. Select TopText iLookup or TopText.
4. Click uninstall and wait a few seconds.
5. A confirmation window will pop-up, please click OK
6. Re-Start your computer

If for some reason you cannot find the entry for TopText iLookup or TopText
in the Add/Remove Programs interface, please follow the following steps:
1. Go to the Program Files folder on the drive that hosts your operating
system (usually the C drive).
2. Under Program Files, go to the eZula folder.
3. In the eZula folder locate a file by the name of UNWISE
4. Double-click the UNWISE file and follow the uninstall wizard
instructions.
5. Re-Start your computer.
