I use Search and desroy as recommended on this newsgroup
(but I still get popups even though I cleanse the system).
One thing here Search and Destroy couldnt remove: its
called "Purity Scan" and its attached itself to the list
of Programs when you click on "start" and then "programs".
Its got .exe on the end of it as described by Search and
Destroy.
If it IS a program then "Purity Scan" is not listed under
its own name when I go to the Add/Remove Pregram box on
the Control Panel. There is however one program listed
which I cant identify which - maybe this is "Purity scan"
lurking un-named so its less likely to be removed. This
one Program calls itself "Win32 B1 Application" - I am
reluctant to remove it as maybe it does something useful.
Any advice on all this?
