Spyware will not update.

Everytime I try to run the updates is says it cannot
connect to the internet. I am on a cable modem and I have
tried the fix as listed in other post.

This fix does not fix the problem. I have installed the
program on several other computers and it works
flawlessly. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling I
have tried running the repair from the control panel and
nothing seems to help.

Any other suggestions?

Make sure your browser is not off line. In Internet Explorer, click File and
ensure that Work Offline is not checked.

Any other suggestions? Also I am running Windows XP sp2

Maybe a thirdparty firewall somewhere on your computer is blocking the
program, also ensure you are logged on to the machine as an Administrator.
