Spyware Timer

S

Simon Roberts

Can anyone please tell me why whenever I try to change
the time for a timed spyware scan, it always reverts back
to 2am no matter what time I enter? I don't want the
damned thing running at 2am as I am usually playing games
online then and it slows everything down! I want to set
it for sometime in the afternoon when I am at the
computer but not usually playing games or doing anything
that important. Many thanks in advance.

I am the only account on this computer (owner). Still
won't schedule scan except at 2:00 AM - when I am sleeping.

1. Close MSAS
2. In control panel "Regional and Language Options", button "Customize", tab
"Time", configure a 12-hour AM/PM time format.
3. Open MSAS, configure your desired schedule in 12-hour AM/PM format, click
"Save", close MSAS.
4. In control panel "Regional and Language Options", button "Customize", tab
"Time", re-configure your preferred 24-hour time format.

Then your scheduled event should occur at your desired time, even if the
displayed time in MSAS looks wrong.

I think you've got a bad install.

You might try this to see whether it will fix it:
-------------
Try this:

start, control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware

"click here for support info" link

Repair.
