spyware program

I installed Microsoft antispyware software and now I can
not use a program that must have excese to the internet
to bootup. Is there a way to get around this spyware
program to allow this program to boot up. Is there a
place in program to place the names of programs that need
to use the internet to boot up. Thanks I need your help.

"A program". Well, that sure was focused.

Could you please be more specific as to what MSAS did to make
"that program" boot up? We really do want to help you.
