After a visit to a cracked license key site, I ended up with tons of
spywares that even MS Antispyware I downloaded can't completely keep these
pop-ups from emerging every so offen. On top of that I get rundll32.exe
crash messages sometimes too. Any one knows how to completely block these
spywares? Thanks.

Google for Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware and CoolWebShredder. Download
and install these applications and get any updates before running them.
Anytime you're "down in the gutter" at "those" sites, make sure you "wash up"
afterward, otherwise you're sure to catch something nasty...

I had someone do system restore on an XP machine and that got rid of one of
the persistent little demons.

Don't go to sites like that.

Hi Razorduck :-)
I had someone do system restore on an XP machine and that got rid of one of
the persistent little demons.

But, they should keep in mind that, simply doing a restore does not remove
the crud from the machine, it only puts it in storage. While the crud is
within the Restore files it can perhaps cause no problems, or may not even
be detected, but, it will still be there. If they restore back to that
period in which they were infected, they will be reinfected. Hopefully,
they won't have to do a restore again until the infection period is
eventually flushed from their Restore files.

Jan :)
