I have a problem with my media player, everytime I click
(left click, single) a media file the whole folder just
freezes. I tried both scanning using MSAS and Norton and
they could not find anything. Help please cause I dont
know what to do. Thanks

Its possible that the Media Player program has become corrupt and needs to
be reinstalled. Its also possible that this could be a virus or malware
program. Restart in safe mode, open Microsoft AntiSpyware > on the Scan
Page, choose Scan Options > Full System Scan (check the boxes below) > clikc
"Run Scan Now"

Also run your AntiVirus program in safe mode and use these additional
AntiSpyware utilities in safe mode:

Restart in safe mode instructions:

The last time I heard these symptoms reported, it turned out to be the fault
of the DivX add-on in the PC, which had added an item to Explorer's
contextual menu for media files, which crashed whenever a media file was
right-clicked.

Do you have a DivX player? If so, is it due an update?
