I have been running Antispyware now for several weeks and
have a bit of a circle going on. If I don't run scans
for several days all is good. However after I run a scan
it must remove MidAddle and then it attempts to re-
install about every 10 minutes and spyware finds it.
Spyware also then asks to run a full scan which will
again start the cycle over again. Any idea how to
permantly remove MidAddle?? Help me please...

Have you restarted in safe mode, by pressing the F8 function key before the
initial Windows screen appears--and done a full, deep scan in that mode?

I have a very similar problem. When I use MS antispyware
it always shows "altnet browser plugin" it is located in
my registry. every single time I scan it's always there
and is the only one that remained after my first scan.
One day i tried to delete it manually by going to regedit
and finding its location but whenever I tried to delete
the key I got a message that windows couldn't delete it.
I've read somwhere that you must scan in SAFE MODE but
that did me no good cause I must have scanned like 6
times in deep scan mode and the key is still there. none
of the other spyware removal programs were able to rid my
system of it either. I really have no idea of what to do
next.

Hi,
Open the MS AntiSpyware, and go to Tools--->Advanced Tools--->System
Explorers--->Internet Explorer--->BHO's and take a peek.
From there, you will be able to 'disable' suspect BHO's. That may help. Let
us know how you make out.

I did what said and looked at the different browser
plugins and found two that were missing a files, so I
removed them thinking that I might have solved the
problem but no such luck. There were other plugins which
goes as follows:
AcroIEHprObj class- Adobe Acrobat IE helper Ver. 6.0
{5370962-6F74-2D53-2...- Spybot search and Destroy
Google Toolbar Helper- Google IE client Toolbar.
I don't think any of these are the cause of the problem,
but If you think otherwise inform me.

Those look fine, on the surface (and I suspect underneath too--I just
haven't carefully verified them.)

What do you see in the startup programs lists?
