You do *not* want SpyBouncer.
It made the list here:

SpyBouncer
spybouncer.com
stingware.com
false positives work as goad to purchase; reported hijacks

What a crock. It's 100% freeuntil you want to use it, then you have
to pay. -----
Visit these sites. 1, 2, 3 and 4 are really good.
Download, install, run, update and run again; one or all. They are
all good, FREE utilities. Make sure you update every program, even
if you just downloaded it. You must have the latest updates.
Without updates, you have a gun without ammo.

Ok, I'm having the same problem, where can I get "Spy Bounce". I'd
really appreciate your help. :O) *Belle*
:
I had the 180 search assistant on my laptop.
I tried to remove it using Add/Remove Software. The
Spyware disappeared from the program list, but the search
field appeared in the toolbar after each reboot.
I then ran SpyBot and removed the registry entries and
files that SpyBot had identified. - Still no result.
I then ran AdAware which also removed several Regsitry
entries, cookies and files, but still this Search field
appeared in the toolbar.
I then downloaded Spy Bounce which finally fixed the
problem.
But somehow in these procedures too many files / registry
entries were deleted because the search function stopped
working.
I tried all the tips posted on the MS pages (reinstalling
srchasst.inf, reinstalling Service Pack 1a, ...).
Does anyone have any tip which files / registry entries
are necessary for the Search Companion to work correctly?
You only see the great use of the search companion when
it does not work ;-(
