Spyware Lists

Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a 'master list' of programs
which install spyware as well as a list of websites which
do the same? I would like to have some form of reference
to add to our information security policy.

Any program can be carrier, I know that Divx carries the 180 Search Spyware
with it.

Yes but that's easy to block with a good firewall.

I'm just looking for a website that says 'Don't install
these programs (like Bonzai Buddy)' or 'Don't visit these
websites'. Is there no site or list like that?

Not that I'm aware of. You should Google any application that you're in
doubt about before you install it. Also get a good firewall. The Windows
firewall is next to worthless. You need one that warns you when an
application is trying to "dial out" or access the internet from your
computer, and you need the ability to block it.
